How Can the 49ers save their season?

Should the San Francisco 49ers fans be worried for their teams slow start to the 2024 football season? While big names like Dre Greenlaw, Christian McCaffrey, and Brandon Aiyuk out for the foreseeable future, is it time to press the panic button 8 games into this season. Losing to a dismantled Rams team and a bottom barrel NFC West team in the Arizona Cardinals looked like early season jitters, but with the hardest stretch of their schedule coming up and their level of play not meeting a super bowl standard, should there be panic out in San Francisco?

The NFC West, luckily for San Francisco, is very weak this year. The 49ers can play sub par football for the next month and still find a way to win their division, hopefully getting both McCaffrey and Greenlaw back at some point this season, poising them for a late playoff push. The question that lingers is how long can the get by just playing alright? Or good enough? Time will only tell, and while this team is very talented, there should be a little panic out west for the red and gold.
